Free tool | Storefront signs and awnings

Preview a sign on your storefront photo

Use this free sign mockup to upload a storefront photo, set scale from one measurement, and place a sign or awning on the facade in day and night. The preview shows typical construction and rough size for discussion before you request a quote from Arc Signage Co. Photos stay on your device unless you create a phone approval link.

Visual preview only — not shop drawings or a permit/code check.

Tell Arc about the job. The sign type, size and lighting are filled in from your mockup; change anything that's off.

Tips

Getting a closer estimate

Shoot straight on

Stand square to the facade, as far back as you can, with the whole sign area and the thing you measured in the frame. Angled shots make sizes less reliable.

Measure on the same wall

Pick something flat and close to the sign location, like the sign area above the storefront, a door, or a window. A long reference gives a better scale than a short one.

Draw the line end to end

Zoom in and drag the ends of the scale line exactly onto the edges you measured. The magnifier helps on a phone.

Treat sizes as a starting point

The sizes here are estimates from a photo, not field measurements. Fabrication needs verified measurements and shop drawings.

FAQ

Free sign preview questions

What does the free sign preview tool do?

Upload a storefront photo, set scale from one measurement, choose a sign type or awning shape, and place it on the facade in perspective. Switch between day and night, download a concept PDF, or send a phone approval link. Photos stay on your device unless you create that link.

Is the mockup a shop drawing or permit check?

No. The preview is for planning and discussion only. It is not a shop drawing, engineering document, or permit or code review. Final sizes, construction details, and code requirements are confirmed during the site survey and in a formal written estimate, for review by the project's architect and inspector.

Who can use the sign mockup tool?

Store owners, tenants, general contractors, architects, and property teams across New York City's five boroughs and all of New Jersey and Connecticut can use the tool to visualize signage before requesting a formal quote from Arc Signage Co.

How it's built

Typical construction and sizes, for discussion. Not to scale, and not a shop drawing. Final sizes and details come from the shop drawing after a site survey.
